You are going to be a part of the Finance team of Ampleon

The finance team of Ampleon is based in 2 locations, Nijmegen and Manila Philippines. You are going to be part of the team in Nijmegen where Financial Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis are coming together. The Nijmegen team is an experienced team with engaged and passionate people.

A look into the life of the Finance Reporting Manager at Ampleon

The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for correct, complete and in time reporting of the consolidated financial statements of Ampleon as well as financial management information that enables decision support and guidance for business management. The focus of this position is to generate overview, provide effective financial analysis/control and improve administrative processes.

In this role, you will: 

  • Be responsible for the monthly reporting process of the consolidated financial statements
    • Actuals, Budget and RFF (Rolling Financial Forecasts)
    • Management information that gives business guidance and decision support
    • Sparring partner to business partners and stakeholders
  • Manage and coordinate the Annual Financial Statements of Ampleon compliant with IFRS
  • Write accounting papers for IFRS and technical topics
  • Provide management with Cash flow forecasts and treasury reporting
  • Be part of the ESG-team and be responsible for the ESG-reporting
  • Prepare CBS-reportings
  • Provide solid analysis from a financial perspective
  • Continuously improve processes resulting into more transparency and efficiency
  • Act as system owner of the consolidation and reporting software (OneStream)
  • Maintain and deploy reporting manual and internal control framework
  • Support global finance departments in monthly closing activities
  • Support Senior Director Finance with ad hoc analyses

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has the following background and capabilities: 

  • You have good English business language skills
  • Bachelor (+) level in a Finance related study
  • At least 5-10 years working experience as financial controller, auditing, accounting or finance
  • Experience with financial reporting and accounting
  • Advanced technical skills in Excel, ERP FICO (SAP preferred) and Power BI or similar
  • Experience with IFRS and ESG reporting (is an advantage)
  • Experience with consolidation software (OneStream preferred)
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends and analysis through data
  • Proactive and self-driven
  • Ability to balance speed and accuracy
  • Experience in an international technical environment is an advantage
