The Back-End Technology team of Ampleon is based in Cabuyao, Philippines. You are going to be part of the team in Philippines where technologies and development engineering projects are coming together. The Philippines team is an experienced team with engaged and passionate people. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Back-End Technology.
You will be the Sr. Engineer, Project Management in Back-End Technology where you will lead and manage projects related to the development, optimization, implementation, and transfer of AMP Projects in assembly manufacturing processes. This role combines project management expertise with technical knowledge of packages and products, assembly operations, process engineering, and manufacturing technologies to ensure successful delivery of quality products, process improvements, and production readiness.
- Lead assembly process development and manufacturing projects from initiation through production ramp-up.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including RF design, process engineering, manufacturing, tooling, quality, supply chain, and operations.
- Drive New Product Introduction (NPI), process transfer, and production qualification activities.
- Monitor project milestones, key deliverables, and performance metrics to ensure successful execution.
- Part of deliverables is to facilitate Design for Manufacturing (DFMEA), Technical Risk Assessment (TRA), and process/project gate readiness reviews (SAVR).
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing requirements.
- Prepare and present project status updates, technical reports, and executive reviews.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, cycle time, productivity, quality, and cost reduction for project deliverables.

We are looking for someone who has the following background and capabilities:
- Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Must have at least five (5) years relevant experience in project management within electronics manufacturing, semiconductor packaging.
- Strong understanding of RF product assembly processes, SMT, die attach, wire bonding, soldering, testing, and manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (PCP).
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP, CAPM, Agile, or other project management certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, PFMEA, SPC, and Process Validation methodologies.
